At NPPN, we directly employ our phlebotomists — we do not use independent contractors. This allows us to ensure that our technicians are up-to-date on all of their certifications, licensure, and continuing education requirements. Because they are our employees, we supply our mobile phlebotomists with state-of-the-art equipment that lets them excel at their jobs, and we hold them to a higher standard of patient-centered care.
Unlike many other similar services, our technicians are our employees, not contractors. Our central operations team controls and coordinates all service availability and scheduling, giving you the support, training, and resources you need to succeed in the field.

What We Look For
- National phlebotomy certification from an accepted agency (ASCP, NHA, AMT, NCCT, or equivalent)
- State certification where required (California, Nevada, Louisiana)
- Minimum clinical or laboratory experience as required for certification
- Strong venipuncture skills including difficult and hard-to-find veins
- Excellent patient communication and compassion
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- HIPAA compliance and infection control training
