General

NPPN provides an independent medical and research specimen collection, processing, and delivery service. We are NOT a medical laboratory and do not conduct laboratory testing. We collect specimens and deliver them to the lab of your choice.

Yes. NPPN specimen collection and delivery services are provided ONLY at the direction of and under specific order from a duly licensed medical practitioner authorized to prescribe and order medical diagnostic testing. You cannot request services without a valid laboratory order.

No. NPPN personnel cannot materially change or alter the laboratory order provided by your prescribing practitioner. It is against the law for any medical care provider to change a practitioner's order without express consent from the prescribing practitioner.

No. NPPN is NOT a medical practice and does NOT provide any medical diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, or medical advice. NPPN has no access to test results. Contact your prescribing practitioner or the laboratory conducting the testing for results.

NPPN services are provided IN the patient's home, work, or other appropriate stationary location where patient privacy and safety are provided. We do NOT provide services inside any vehicle or in any public location.

Scheduling & Availability

You can schedule directly through our secure online portal or by calling our support team at (888) 778-7403. We'll confirm your appointment and review your provider's requisition.

NPPN will attempt to contact you to schedule an appointment within 24-48 hours upon receipt of your request. Most services can be scheduled within a few days to one week, depending on location and testing requirements.

NPPN performs all services during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm PT. The service calendar usually books out about a week in advance.

No. NPPN is a NON-EMERGENT service and should NOT be used for STAT or URGENT laboratory orders. All services are scheduled in advance. Expedited collection and/or delivery is NOT possible unless scheduled in advance.

We have technicians in all major metropolitan areas in the United States. Our team is adept at recruiting and training field service talent to meet demand. Contact our operations team if you're unsure about coverage in your area.

Cancellation Policy

We have a 48-hour cancellation policy. Appointments canceled without at least 48 hours' notice will be charged a 50% cancellation fee for all services scheduled on that day.

Appointments canceled at the time of service or no-shows will be charged the full fee for services scheduled on that day.

Insurance & Billing

Coverage varies depending on your provider and the type of test. Many diagnostic tests ordered by a licensed healthcare professional are eligible for insurance coverage, especially when medically necessary. We recommend checking with your insurance provider in advance.

We cannot bill Medicare or Medicaid directly. For covered members of participating health plans, we can provide insurance claim forms with appropriate billing codes so patients or facilities may seek reimbursement.

MobiLab Express™ is typically $99 per patient, per draw. The Specimen PROs™ service is $350 per technician, per 4-hour session. Additional mileage or material costs may apply depending on your needs.

Yes. We work with many insurance plans, including managed care plans. We often collaborate with insurance providers to ensure smooth billing and documentation.

Service Quality & Safety

Unlike many other similar services, our technicians are our employees, not contractors. Our central operations team controls and coordinates all service availability and scheduling.

Yes. All NPPN phlebotomists are fully insured under phlebotomy liability insurance and meet national certification requirements.

A certified phlebotomist will arrive at your chosen location, confirm your identity, explain the process, and collect your specimens safely and efficiently. Most appointments take 10-20 minutes.

Yes. We are very familiar with a vast array of diagnostic lab kits and specialty testing services. Our technicians collect specimens, process them according to kit instructions, and deliver them to the designated shipping carrier or laboratory.

Absolutely. Our phlebotomists frequently provide care in residential communities and assisted living centers, ensuring patients with mobility challenges continue receiving the tests they need.

Privacy & Compliance

NPPN will not use or disclose protected health information (PHI) except as permitted or required by HIPAA. PHI may be used only for treatment, payment, or healthcare operations. All other uses require patient authorization.

No. We will not sell or provide secure proprietary information to outside parties except as expressly authorized or required to provide requested services. No customer information is kept on a publicly available server.
